  • Youth Assistance Programs
    • Both Livonia and Westland have "Youth Assistance Programs" which were developed as an alternative to the juvenile court systemin in order to prevent early involvement in the legal system for youth who are identified as at-risk or delinquent.
    • Behaviors of concern may include: Curfew problems, poor grades, attendance issues, peer issues, home truancy, suspensions, legal involvement, incorrigible, substance use involvement. 
    • Services offered may include: Counseling, mentoring, classes, etc. Services are free and confidential. Visit the link below which corresponds to your home residence.

  • Livonia Save Our Youth (LSOY) Coalition.
    • Livonia Save Our Youth is a coalition with a mission to educate and empower the community regarding the health and safety of our young people with a focus on alcohol and other drugs. The coalition includes parents, teens, educators, health care workers, law enforcement, the faith community, and substance abuse professionals.
